About 999 Developments

Meet Max, the customer in every 999 meeting

At 999 Developments the customer always has a seat at the table, and that seat belongs to Max. He is not a mascot. Max is the customer, always here, always first.

The story

Why a teddy bear sits in our meetings

The idea came from our CEO, Stig Vinck. He wanted a way to bring the customer closer into our daily work.

Amazon is known for keeping an empty chair in meetings to stand for the customer. Max takes that idea one step further: instead of an empty chair, Max sits at the table as the customer.

He is there to make us ask one question, every time: what does this mean for the customer?

What Max stands for

Not decoration: accountability to the customer

In every discussion, from sales to marketing and from design to aftercare, Max makes sure the customer is never forgotten.

In sales

Are we making the process clear and trustworthy?

In design

Does this layout really support the way families live?

In marketing

Does this message speak to what customers care about most?

Max lives by our principle: “…because every detail matters.”

A culture of care

We build for people, not just properties

We do not see homes as products. We see them as places where lives unfold. Max keeps us focused on people.

We build not for ourselves, but for our customers: their comfort, their trust and their future.

Little Max

A small Max to take home

There is a big Max and a small Max. Small Max teddies go to our customers, the agents we work with and children at fairs and expos.

Wherever he goes, he carries the same promise: the customer comes first.

Looking ahead

Max stays at the table

As we keep building modern pool villas in Chiang Mai, Max stays with us. He is our promise that the customer's voice is part of every decision we make.

Max is not a mascot. Max is the customer: always here, always first.
